About Me
I am currently attending Sheridan College in the Honours Bachelor of Interior Design Program. I grew up in Peterborough, Ontario and am now residing in Mississauga.
I have always had a passion for art as well as construction from a young age. My parents often renovated our family home which exposed me to design early on. As I aged, my passion grew more for the construction and design industry and eventually became my career path. In high school, I furthered my knowledge by taking art and construction classes where my wood working skills and artistic abilities flourished.
Today, I am more passionate than ever to be a part of the design industry and to eventually pursue a career as an interior designer. I have not yet decided what sector of the industry I would like to specialize in, however, residential and hospitality design interest me greatly and I hope to explore them further. I enjoy the process of designing a space from the initial concept to drafting in AutoCAD and seeing my designs come together as a whole. Over the next couple years, I plan to become more proficient in computer programs such as Revit and 3D rendering softwares to strengthen my skills as a designer. As of right now, I am an ARIDO student member and plan to achieve full designer credentials as well as LEED certification within the next 10 years.
Design Philosophy
I aspire to design functional spaces that serves its occupants in the most ergonomically correct and sustainable way. I wish to design spaces of different styles and uses and to meet the clients needs as best as I can.

Experience
Aside from gaining knowledge from school, I have worked various jobs that have further introduced me to the industry. Prior to this program, I worked at a hardware store which helped me familiarize myself with common building materials and practices. Since joining the program, I have worked as a student designer at a small store called Lockside Trading Company. In this position, I worked under the instruction of an experienced designer who allowed me to have my own clients and recommend various products such as furniture, lighting, and decor. I also produced custom powerpoints, floorplans, and sold and ordered custom furniture.
