HOSPITALITY
Inner Luv Caribbean Restaurant
This was the first restaurant design I had the opportunity
of completing. This project was done in my third year
and was done with 2 other designers in my program.
For this assignment, I was the project lead which
allowed me to choose the style of restaurant, as well
as oversee the design project as a whole. We chose to
create a Caribbean restaurant that would be geared
towards high end clients. Inner Luv was located in the heart
of Toronto where it occupied 2 stories of a historical building. This concept was based around the jamaican phrase "inner luv", which means to be happy with a service or moment.
Within the restaurant, we used bright colours, intricate patterns, and intimate seating areas which enhanced the overall atmosphere within the space. This restaurant offered customers various seating options to fit the experience they were after.
Inner Luv is beautiful blend of the caribbean and canadian cultures and brings a new experience to the city of Toronto that it did not previously have.
