Technical Drawings
Apart from designing various spaces, I have also been taught how to create many technical drawings such as detail sectional cuts in flooring, cabinetry, etc. as well as larger details such as residential sections. I have a strong understanding of what materials are typically used and how materials are bonded together on a small and large scale.
This knowledge will assist me in the industry in making my plans as accurate as possible and I will be able to communicate with project managers and trades workers on a job site. If issues arise, I will be able to understand most problems and will be able to produce an effective solution .
Drawing
From a young age, I had a strong passion for art especially drawing and painting. Throughout high school and college, I have been taught various techniques relating to line work, shading, perspective, colour, and contrast, as well as using different materials to create my work. I continue to practice and develop these skills especially drawing images that are related to interior design.
