This project was completed in my second year at Sheridan College and was intended to introduce students to the retail sector of the design industry. For this project, I was assigned a high-end store that I had to rebrand and modernize.

The store I was assigned was Rolex and would be located in a vacant store location in Square One Mall. For this assignment, I had to consider what merchandise the store was selling, amount of traffic it receives, how secure of a facility it had to be, and the overall the demographic associated with the  brand.

I drew inspiration from the watches Rolex sells and had my floor plan reflect the interior of the watch. I altered the colour scheme to appear more high-end by incorporating more golds and blacks rather than Rolex’s signature green. I also replaced materials such as carpet and light wood with marble and dark wood to compliment the colour palette I created.
